PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR HEAT AND FLAMES: FABRIC AND MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS
The protective properties of garments, materials (protective fabrics), and accessories when subjected to heat and flames are assessed in compliance with the EN ISO 11612 standard. Moreover, this standard examines if the resistance, shrinkage, and service life meet the minimum requirements. Accredited ILAC-MRA laboratories provide official certification for these evaluations.
